Hi. I am reverting your revert to my edit to the Allentown article. I don't take issue with Irene_Ng's fame, but rather that she was born in Malaysia, and this list is of famous people born in Allentown, not simply moving there at some point in their lives. Alvis 20:21, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job

[edit]

Good job

[edit]

Good job catching the various vandalism to the Allentown pages, such as Parkland High School. With all the hard work we spend improving these pages, it's a shame we have to waste time on such efforts, but it's not thankless work...because I'm dropping you a note to say "thanks" :) PAWiki 17:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PA 145

[edit]

hey, i noticed your from the Allentown Area and i'm wondering if you have the equipment to take pictures of McArthur Road and maybe some others from PA 145 if you want it's not obligational. I don't have a diginal camera so i can't take any. PA 145 is close to Good Article status and i could use some help, thanks. -- JohnnyAlbert10 2:31, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I bought a diginal camera so you don't need to take pictures if you don't want to. -- JohnnyAlbert10 Time to talk · My Help 21:19, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect of Sensata

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Sensata, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Sensata is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Sensata, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Please explain

[edit]

Hi. You marked this edit as minor (it clearly isn't) and you failed to give any sort of explanation. Best, --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 05:03, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have reinserted a totally irresponsible passage after I explained what was wrong with it in total detail. The edit by Brewcrewer cites a source that says the opposite of what the insert says (and never did say what Brewcrewer attributes to it). For a PhD candidate such as yourself to second this is perverse. Please rectify. Thank you. Hurmata (talk) 07:58, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Slipperyweasel! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 331 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Roy C. Afflerbach - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:49, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I noticed that you added the previous champions of Scholastic Scrimmage, and was wondering where you found that information, as I have not been able to find it anywhere else and want to know how you got it. Thanks! Ethan Parmet (talk) 01:54, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
